THE SECOND EDITION OF EPC ENCOUNTERS TO KICK OFF IN PUGLIA, ITALY

 

The second edition of EPC Encounters kicks off on November 8th, 2024 in Puglia.

 

For the second time, the EPC is gathering part of its members in a dedicated event: EPC Encounters that will take place in Lecce later this year.

 

The aim of these encounters in not only to gather and enhance great thinking; encourage reflection and facilitation collaboration on projects among our members, but it also allows to get inspired by the locations where these Encounters take place. Last year, it was Gran Canaria, today Puglia! Two fantastic regions, with amazing locations and available soft money for foreign coproductions.

 

EPC Encounters’ first edition focused on the growth of the independent production companies within the audiovisual ecosystem and tackled the question of how independent producers could face the current fast changes of the market to become stronger, as an industry.

 

Alexandra Lebret, the Managing Director of EPC, said “EPC Encounters is aimed at giving a space to our ever-growing organisation to discuss the hottest topics of the industry. The richness of our organisation is the components of the association itself: the Members. They are incredible professionals, trying every day anew solution to adapt to this fast-changing market. All we need is to gather them and get the essence out of their reflection”.

 

EPC President Dariusz Jablonski commented: We are really excited that in Apulia, marvelous region in a center of an European culture and history, we will share producers’ experiences and discuss on politics of the audio-visual industry. We also look forward to meet the local film industry, talk about projects and see wonderful locations.
