Ego Media, a film production and service company based in Riga, was founded by Guntis Trekteris in 2005 with the aim of creating documentaries and fiction films for both domestic and global viewership. The company prioritizes original narratives crafted by talented filmmakers and engages in numerous co-productions with partners around the world. Latest highlights include the local box office hit THE SIGN PAINTER by Viesturs Kairišs and animated documentary MY FAVORITE WAR by Ilze Burkovska-Jacobsen – Annecy Contrechamp winner in 2020. Recently the company finished the shoot of its first TV series THE ASSISTANT.
